American Colonial furniture retains many elements of these originating styles but expresses them more conservatively, conferring increased durability and the ability to travel well. Typified by gracefully curved panels and moldings, and deeply turned posts, American Colonial furniture reflects the provincial refined gentility of its time.

Straight edges blend with beautifully arched paneling. Clearly delineated moldings, and well-proportioned drawers present an overall elegance and durability, and note the gracefully shaped Chippendale bracket feet. Choose tasteful brass hardware to remain true to style. The upper cabinet houses 3 adjustable shelves, but can alternatively be fitted with a hanging rod (making it a Colonial 'Wardrobe').
