Since then, several stylistic and structural adaptations have evolved including Arrow-Back, Bow-Back, Comb-Back, Fan-Back, Paddle-Back, Sack-Back, Wheat-Back, and many other Windsor Chair varieties. In the late Victorian age, furniture making was transitioning from exclusive reliance on hand work to a greater dependence on intricately machined ornamentation – which characterizes the premier pieces of that time. Named for their ornate back slat design - a whimsical portrayal of a flowering lilly field in Spring - Spring Meadow Chairs are beautiful and ornate pieces of furniture.
