Each of the lasting innovations in rocking chair design was initially driven by the demands of increased comfort and/or improved style.

This Colonial Windsor Four Post Glider Rocking Chair is a true heirloom quality piece, available in select oak or cherry hardwood, it is generously upholstered to ensure your comfort. • Supremely Comfortable - with generous cushioning over the back and the tilted seat, and arms supported on 3 posts, this chair provides exceptional support and a secure feeling. In short, you'll want to rock a while!
• Extreme Durability, With Very Low Maintenance - built with solid hardwood materials and superior mortise-and-tenon construction, designed to endure for generations. Although many lesser colonial chairs were originally made with soft pine seats (for ease of working), all of our chairs use solid oak, cherry, or maple seats for added beauty and durability. Leg and arm-post tenons are long, passing through the seat and arms, and secured in place by Hickory wedges. The gliding mechanisms use large ball bearings and hardened races for smooth operation and longevity in service.

Whether you choose a solid black finish or a semi-transparent stain finish (Order oak, cherry or maple hardwood samples to see our range of finish colors in Your home), this beautiful hardwood glider rocking chair has a smooth, durable varnish top-coat which brings out the natural beauty of the wood but resists water and most common household chemicals to minimize care and maintenance.

Fabrics are treated to resist stains. Choose from 5 STANDARD Upholstery Fabrics or a choice of 1000's of CUSTOM upholstery fabrics ($15 extra).
