• Supremely Comfortable - with generous cushioning over the back and the tilted seat, and arms supported on 3 posts, this chair provides exceptional support and a secure feeling. In short, you'll want to sit a while!
• Extreme Durability, With Very Low Maintenance - built with solid hardwood materials and superior mortise-and-tenon construction, designed to endure for generations. Although many lesser colonial chairs were originally made with soft pine seats (for ease of working), all of our chairs use solid oak, cherry, or maple seats for added beauty and durability. Leg and arm-post tenons are long, passing through the seat and arms, and secured in place by Hickory wedges. The swivel mechanisms use large ball bearings and hardened races for smooth operation and longevity in service.

Whether you choose a solid black finish or a semi-transparent stain finish (Order oak, cherry or maple hardwood samples to see our range of finish colors in Your home), this beautiful hardwood glider rocking chair has a smooth, durable varnish top-coat which brings out the natural beauty of the wood but resists water and most common household chemicals to minimize care and maintenance.

Fabrics are treated to resist stains. Choose from 5 STANDARD Upholstery Fabrics or a choice of 1000's of CUSTOM upholstery fabrics ($15 extra).
