Modeled on the original Slat-Back Chairs produced by rural shops in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware from about 1700 on, it innovates by replacing the traditional back slats with a whimsical sheaf-of-wheat. Perfect for the informal eat-in kitchen these sturdy chairs evince country charm . By using 100% premium American hardwood components combined with modern glues and a range of quality finishes (see thumbnails above) it actually surpasses the beauty and durability of the original chairs.
